Light Organ Music at Sawrey
21st January 2006
Review by Tracker

As a result of Anne Emmett's campaign to make the 05/06 programme less serious we enjoyed an hour or so of light music played by Paul Gregson on the organ of Sawrey church, idyllically situation midway between Windermere and Esthwaite Water. It was soon obvious Paul has considerable flair for this music which has the advantage of not require much concentration by the listener. He expertly montaged the separate pieces into continuous sections. It was a marvellous relaxing experience helped by the June evening like weather. We look forward to hearing more at Stockport. Many thanks to Anne.
